FANTAMUSICASìA to educate with music

The Polimnia Ensemble organizes concerts and shows intended for children in order to transmit to them musical forms through tales, popular songs, games and other forms of artistic expression. On the scene, also, the young musicians can experience directly the performance together with adult musicians who accompany them, sharing their artistic work.

WHAT IS FANTAMUSICASIA

Progetto realizzato dal Polimnia Ensemble in collaborazione con il Comune di Roma: Assessorato alle Politiche di Promozione dell’Infanzia e della Famiglia e con diversi Sponsors privati tra i quali WIND, IBM e Banca di Credito Cooperativo. Si tratta di 4 Concerti in forma teatrale eseguiti al Parco della Musica, Auditorium di Roma nel 2003 - 2004 - 2005. Le Opere, appositamente scritte e musicate per il Festival, prevedono:
- una storia raccontata attraverso le suggestioni sonore di un’Orchestra Sinfonica;
- un incontro tra letteratura e musica, con brani tratti dai libri di lettura per bambini di Tolstoj e l’esecuzione di musiche russe;
- una introduzione all’ascolto del Jazz;
- un incontro tra musica classica e canzoni per l’infanzia.

The Program

• Mozart dello Zecchino d’Oro classical music and children’s tunes, for chamber sextet, white voices choir and 2 actors. Funny gags, puns, quick exchanges and defiances, based on famous Mozart pieces and on some of the most famous tunes from the Zecchino d’Oro.
• Lupus in fabula chamber music and reading Tolstoj, for chamber sextet, actor, children musicians and dancers. A very special woolf will tell the stories of Tolstoj on the music of Tchaikovskij
• l blues dell’Asino jazz in its various forms, for swing sextet, actor-presenter-singer and children musicians. An enchanting voyage in the history of jazz, through blues and tales, improvisation, surprises and coups de theatre.
• Fantamusicasìa fairytale for symphonic orchestra, actor, corps de ballet or mime. Sofia’s day is told through the sound suggestion of the symphonic orchestra.
